Chalet Hotel Diamant is an ideal base for skiing in Dolomiti Superski. The area provides an opportunity to ski more miles in a week than anywhere in the world and includes three World Cup race venues, a glacier, and some of the longest black runs in Europe.
We offer hosted skiing several days of the week, including the Sella Ronda (a 56km marathon around the Sella Massif), the Hidden Valley with Cinque Torri, and around Kronplatz. Other excursions such as the Great War Tour, or to the Marmolada glacier may also be possible (subject to conditions and availability).
The hotel is located in the centre of the village of San Martino in Badia. The small village has a bank with cashpoint, a grocery shop, two restaurants and a bar. On the hill above the village is a mediaeval castle now housing a museum about local culture and history.
Local bus services are free and routes connect San Martino with nearby Corvara (passing through Badia and La Villa), and the town of Brunico in the opposite direction. Guests preferring not to go skiing will find plenty to see and do, there is a weekly market in Brunico as well as walks along the valley, snowshoeing, bike trails and several places nearby where it would be possible too meet up with skiers for lunch.
